Do Elected Officials Care About You, Your Business, Family, Friends, and Community?
Elected officials failed to ensure that Community Small Businesses (C.S.B.) received funds despite the Sense of Senate in H.R. 748, also known as the C.A.R.E.S. Act 2020. Banks across the country are making it difficult for C.S.B.'s to receive Paycheck Protection Program funds causing some to risk their lives to make money.

It is made clear through the Sense of the Senate located on page 30 and lines 3-15 in H.R. 748 "(iv) "that the Administrator should issue guidance to lenders and agents to ensure that the processing and disbursement of covered loans prioritize small business concerns and entities in underserved areas and rural markets, including veterans and members of the military community, small business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals (as defined in section 8 (d)(3)(C)0, women, and businesses in operation for less than 2 years".

The coalition position must be that any elected official regardless of race, party affiliation, and past work that disregards the need for funding C.S.B.'s be the target of defeat for the Nov 3rd election.
